Ellis Jewelers announces its grand opening in the Concord Tribune
Ellis Jewelers hosts a grand opening celebration! You can see store founder Mr. Ellis on the far left with the mayor of Concord as he conducts a prize drawing. Mr. Ellis’ mother (current store owner Dan’s grandmother) can be seen in the foreground, to the top right of Mr. Ellis’ head.

Dan’s first day of work with his father. This was the beginning of Dan’s training in all facets of running a jewelry business, from diamond buying to financial management. Dan still takes every opportunity he can to learn and grow as a member of the jewelry industry!
We began remodeling our storefront. As part of the remodel, we removed aluminum siding from the storefront, exposing the building’s gorgeous, 100 year-old brick work.
Dan stands in the store’s old street-facing windows. After 59 years, Ellis Jewelers was ready to expand the showcase windows and enlarge the store’s floor space to accommodate an ever-growing clientele.
The new storefront is completed. Dan invited Mr Ellis to take a look at the new store. It was a proud father and son moment, and a beautiful reminder of all the love and care that goes into a family business!
Dan cuts the ribbon for the store’s 60th Birthday Bash! Friends, family and clients came out to celebrate six decades of Ellis’ service as Concord’s local jeweler.
The Ellis Future Jewelry Designers Contest celebrates its tenth year running! The Ellis team celebrates a decade of promoting the arts to local students.
The Ellis team completes another remodel in anticipation of the store’s 70th anniversary. The store is repainted inside and out, and a new awning goes up. Wall lighting and backlit graphics are installed to better light up the showroom and show off our jewelry’s sparkle.
