Our custom jewelry process is all about you! Our ultimate goal is to make sure you get exactly the piece jewelry you’ve been dreaming of. We’ll work with you every step of the way to make sure that happens.
It starts with a consultation. You will meet with one of our custom designers and tell them all about the piece you want created for you. You can bring along any sketches, pictures, written descriptions, or even a Pinterest board to share your inspiration with us. If you are still figuring out what you want your piece to look like, that’s okay, too. We are here to help, and we’ll work with you to create a professional sketch of your finalized design idea.
Once the sketch is finalized, our team will start bringing your piece to life with the help of computer-aided design. We’ll give you a chance to see a model of your piece before we do the final casting. Once you’ve approved the model, we’ll finalize your piece and share it with you!
We can’t give you an exact answer here, unfortunately! The time it takes to complete your custom jewelry will depend on a few different things, including the metals and gemstones you hope to include in the piece, how busy our custom jewelers are, and how complex your piece is.
A simple, minimalist gold wedding band will take less time than a pendant with many intricate details and unique gemstones. We’re happy to make just about anything for you, but we do ask that you be patient. Good things take time, after all! At your custom design consultation, we will give you an estimate of how long your piece will take to create. If the piece is an engagement ring or gift for someone else, we recommend planning ahead about 6-8 weeks in advance of when you need the completed piece, particularly during the busy holiday season.
Again, we unfortunately can't give you an exact number until we know more about the piece you want to create. It depends on a number of factors. The size of the piece, the complexity of the piece, and the materials you want to use all play a key part in the final cost of your design. At your consultation, we’ll be able to give you a much better estimate of the price, and we’ll try our best to create what you want within your budget.
